Kim Kitsuragi from Disco Elysium belongs to my absolute favorite hero * inside because he reminds me of all the people in my life, which endure my escapades with incredible serenity, stoic equanimity, and infinite patience. Because the disco Elysium-NPC Kim Kitsuragi, that is, the main character, is not even evil, if I exclude the ground as an absolute failure the barrel.
Kim is still there for me, accept me, takes me as I am. Even though that means I can not remember him, my own name, my job or anything else.
Kim Kitsuragi is the true hero of Disco Elysium
Who is this Kim? In Disco Elysium, we wake up with a bad hangover from an even evil fullrough and remember nothing - not even our own name. So we get the best video game explanation for the complete ignorance and amnesia served the main character. Shortly thereafter, we already meet the colleague and policemen Kim Kitsuragi, who accompanies us as a party member all the rest of the game.

Kim always remains reasonably relaxed, even if I look up with only one shoe and completely crazy outfits and try to persuade him to take off two punks their jackets.

But I can somehow understand that the always elegantly dressed Kim does not feel a great desire to wear a jacket with the inscription "Fuck the World" or "Pissf **** T". Of course, his philosophical-ornal designs on the subject were worth every second. It's just refreshing to be surrounded by people with pronounced style awareness, their own head and good arguments.

David uses the current theme weeks to write over three favorite herets. Somehow, there has been some loosely contiguous, quite personal: it's not just about our hero * inside, but also to ourselves, our environment and our friend * inside.
Of course, Kim Kitsuragi is not a classic hero. But there is no antiheld, because this function is definitely filled out by me or the start of disco Elysium still nameless protagonists. But it definitely has something very heroic, as Kim deals with this completely confused shape (me) that does not really know who or what he is actually landed here, as it could come so far and what all this to mean. I stumble through the events and devices from an unpleasant situation to the next. Kim is the only really helping hand the saving rock in the surf.

Kim always has an open ear and gets involved on all the wild discussions that I break from the fence - Be as banal or deeply existentially. The only thing Kim Kitsuragi does not like is racism. But otherwise: As soon as I enjoy Kim's trust, he would even throw himself in front of a ball for me.
Therefore, Kim is exemplary for me for all my friends who have saved or at least helped me with their open ear, their opinion and help, as often as often as much as they have often losed the mind.
