Apple s customers can probably repair their iPhones themselves

In early 2022, Apple apparently wants to offer its customers spare parts for current iPhones and MacBook so that they can repair their equipment themselves in the future. The offer should only exist in the US. Other countries will then be added over the next year.

Apple will soon let you repair your own iPhone

Which spare parts will offer Apple to the start?

For the time being Apple will not offer a spare part for all components of iPhone and MacBook. Instead, one would like to focus on the parts that are most frequently replaced. This is the battery and the display. Official prices are not yet available, but the company wants to orient itself at the cost of certified repair centers.

How expensive are the spare parts of an iPhone?

If you want to exchange your battery with a certified provider, currently pays for the 75 Euro with an iPhone 12. For the screen, up to 311 Euro are due. If you want to repair your devices yourself in the future, however, should know that the customer is liable for damages when installing the spare parts themselves. Instructions for sharing the parts are included.
