The NBA has announced new trophies for the year's best (Michael Jordan, Wilt Chamberlain and John Alice) in addition to the traditional one for MVP. The rookie of the year will receive the Wilt Chamberlain Trophy, and the vice-player who most contributed off the bench during the season will get the John Alice Trophy.
The NBA honors its finest with brand-new trophies. For example, the most important player (MVP) of the season will get Michael Jordan Prize, the novice of the year the Wilt Chamberlain Prize and the best 6th man the John Alice Prize.
